Bikers for Christ Motorcycle Ministry was founded as a community of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our ultimate goal is to get to know Christ and be formed in his image by the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the only true foundation of a Christian community is the agape love of Christ, which is greater than all differences and without which we cannot call ourselves Christians.
We believe that worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore we remain flexible and open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our worship.
We believe that worship should be inspired by God. That is why we give music a great place in our worship.
We believe that worship of God should be intelligent. That is why our worship services are strongly designed to teach the Word of God so that He shows us how He wants to be praised.
We believe that the worship of God should bear fruit. Therefore we look for His love in our lives as the supernatural revelation that we have truly honoured Him.
We believe in all the fundamental teachings of original Christianity.
We believe in the imperishable Scriptures that the Bible (Old and New Testament) is the inspired and infallible Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:19-21).
We believe that God exists forever in the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-14; John 10:30; John 14:15-26).
We believe that God is the Almighty, All-pervading Creator of all things.
We believe in the divinity of Christ (Isaiah 9:6; John 8:58; John 10:24-30; Titus 2:13). That He was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35), led a life without sin (Hebrews 4:15; II Corinthians 5:21; I John 3:5), died on the cross for our sins (I Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9; I. Peter 3:18), was physically resurrected (John 2:18-22; John 11:25; I Corinthians 15:4), ascended into heaven (Mark 16:19; Ephesians 1:19-21), where he sits at the right hand of God to pray for us forever (Acts 1:9-11; Revelation 10:11-16).
We believe in the personal, visible second return of Jesus Christ to earth. He will return with His saints and establish an eternal kingdom.
After Jesus ascended into heaven, He poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem. By doing so, He enabled them to proclaim the good news to the whole world as He had ordered. This commitment is shared by all believers today.
We believe that all people are separated from God from birth and are responsible for their own sins. But we also believe that redemption, deliverance and forgiveness are offered to us without return of any kind only by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When someone renounces sin and accepts Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and Lord, he is immediately born again and marked by the Holy Spirit. All his sins are forgiven and this person has become a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord (John 5:24-29; Revelation 20:11-15).
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as they are called in Scripture, and that they are still valid today when they are exercised within the framework of biblical guidelines (Romans 8:13-16; I Corinthians 6:19-20; Galatians 5:16-25).
We as believers should strive for the best gifts, and seek to exercise them in love, so that the whole body of Christ may benefit. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gift, and that without love the exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.
